International perspectives

During August we were very fortunate to have a visit by the internationally renowned scientist Dr. Michael Russelle. Dr. Russelle is a Soil Scientist with the U.S. Dairy Forage Research Center at St. Paul, Minnesota, USA and an Adjunct Professor with the Department of Soil, Water and Climate at the University of Minnesota. http://www.ars.usda.gov/pandp/people/people.htm?personid=4870 Dr. Russelle gave a number of insightful prentations. One was to an audience at Ellinbank, keen to hear about his vision for Victorian dairy systems now and into the future based on his experiences in the USA and elsewhere.
